Area : 3500 m2
Status : Planning
The project is conceived as a contemporary office hub in Gibraltar’s main town, integrating office spaces, meeting rooms, entertainment areas, and an auditorium.
The design reinterprets the steel and ironwork typical of Gibraltar’s historic buildings, translating their structural logic and materiality into a contemporary architectural language. A central Arabic-inspired courtyard, defined by patterned flooring, operates as a climatic device, bringing daylight and natural ventilation into the plan.
In addition, the facade of the building is conceived as a secondary green skin, providing solar control from direct radiation while introducing a natural layer to the architecture. This planted envelope filters light, improves thermal performance, and brings a softer, organic presence into the courtyard, reinforcing the relationship between historic character, climate, and contemporary design.
